The SMART coalition consists of residents, parents, grandparents, alumni, teachers and other citizens all working together. The SMART coalition has been involved in the past with successfully amending the Charter of Marysville in order to strengthen the Marysville community.  The Charter of Marysville is the document that outlines the organization, powers and procedures of Marysville’s government. The SMART coalition had two charter amendments placed on the May 2025 ballot that voters overwhelmingly supported and passed on election day.
